Microsoft Movie Creator for Windows 8.1 Launched

Good News Folks, Microsoft has released the
Movie Createor App Windows 8.1 devices as
well. It was only yesterday, when they released
the app for Windows Phone 8.1 version.. So if
you are running Windows 8.1 on any of your
machines, the app can be downloaded from the store.

While the app is not as powerful as the Mac OS X iMovie app, this is certainly better than the Movie Maker application Windows users were stuck with from ages. The app lets you quickly combine your media files like video, music, audio to create stunning movies.

When editing the videos, you can use filters,
adjust trim & duration of clips, rotate/flip/mirror clips, pan & zoom clips, add text titles & credits and adjust volume. You can also change movie themes and music anytime and even get more themes from the in-app Theme Store.

When using iMovie, the themes and pre-built
templates are pretty impressive. I would love to
see the app getting closer to that.
